Morning to visit the most symbolic places in the center of Reykjavík, entering, for example, the beautiful church of Hallgrimskirkja, and ending the visit enjoying the incredible panoramic view from the Perlan building. Next you will visit the Golden Circle, where you will find three essential places: þingvellir, national park and seat of the first Icelandic Parliament, where you can also see the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates; Geysir, the famous water fountain that has given its name to all the geysers in the world and which is currently dormant, its "brother" Strokkur, who emits steam with full force every few minutes; and Gullfoss or the "Golden Waterfall", one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland thanks to its impressive waterfalls, which reach 32 meters in height. As a finishing touch, you can contemplate the ancient Kerið volcanic crater. Accommodation in Hveragerði in a hotel with thermal pool, jaccuzi and sauna.

DAY 3: SOUTH COAST, WATERFALLS, BEACHES AND CLIFFS
Today is the best day to explore the southern coast of Iceland and see its beautiful waterfalls. After breakfast you can visit the Hveragerði museum to feel in your own flesh the earthquake that affected Hveragerði in 2008, although this time it will only be a simulation (the ticket is included). The next stop should be at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, famous because it allows you to pass behind the water column, and then visit Gljúfrabúi or "the hidden waterfall", which many travelers do not visit since it does not appear in all the travel guides . In this area you can observe the effects of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, which caused aerial chaos in Europe in 2010, and visit the Eyjafjallajökull museum (the entrance to the museum is included). Afterwards, the waterfall of Skógafoss, one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland, is 60 meters high and 25 meters wide, where you can access the upper part through its steep staircase. The next stop can be Dyrhólaey, in the Vík area; where you can find beautiful beaches and cliffs where puffin colonies nest during the summer months. To finish it is nothing more and nothing less than the Vatnajökull, the third largest glacier on the planet. Accommodation in the area of the great Vatnajökull.

DAY 4: SKAFTAFELL NATIONAL PARK, GLACIER VATNAJOKULL, JOKULSÁRLÓN LAGOON & FJORDS
On the Vatnajökull glacier you can go on an excursion with crampons or trekking to Svartifoss, a beautiful waterfall with basalt columns. In the afternoon it is the best time to see Jökulsárlón, the impressive glacial lagoon of icebergs. You can enjoy it from the shore or book a boat tour amphibious. Then you should head to the eastern fjords and enjoy views dominated by a fascinating nature. In the Stödvarfjördur fjord we recommend a visit to the Petra mineral museum. Accommodation in the East Fjords / Egilsstaðir.

DAY 5: NATIONAL PARK JOKULSÁRGLJÚFUR, DETTIFOSS, ÁSBYRGI AND HÚSAVÍK
The best way to reach the north is to go through the old scenic route of Mödrudalur, where you can stop at the traditional farm with the same name. Next you must visit the largest waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss; the Canyon of the Gods, in Ásbyrgi, and Húsavík, the best city to book a whale watching excursion. In Húsavík you can enjoy not only the whales, some impressive landscapes and a very fresh meal, learning a little more about the Icelandic culture. The chance of spotting whales while on a whale watching tour in Húsavík has been from 97-99% in recent years. Accommodation in the center of the beautiful city of Húsavík.

DAY 6: LAKE MÝVATN, VOLCANO KRAFLA, GODAFOSS AND AKUREYRI
Today we have to continue to the north to visit all the Lake Mývatn area. In the morning we recommend a walk through the volcanic area of Krafla-Leirhnjúkur, where you can observe the effects of the eruption of 1984. You can not stop stopping next to the great Vítí crater, really impressive. Then, you can visit the geothermal area of Námafjall, with a large number of fumaroles and steaming mud. Afterwards, the "enchanted city" of Dimmuborgir awaits you, where you can enjoy the caves and rock formations of fossilized lava. In addition, you can also see the pseudocraters of Skutustadir and the incredible views of the Hverfjall crater. In the afternoon you have the waterfall Goðafoss, known as "the waterfall of the gods", and Akureyri, the capital of the north. Accommodation in Akureyri.

DAY 7: SNAEFELLSNES / REYKJAVÍK PENINSULA
After breakfast you can head west to Iceland. After about 4-5 hours of travel you will arrive at the incredible Snaefellsnes Peninsula, one of the most well-known and visited places of Iceland; as much for the natural wonders that it shelters as for the symbolic and historical importance of these landscapes and everything which represent. The most significant point of the peninsula, the volcano of Snaefellsnesjökull, is one of the symbols of Iceland, which became famous all over the world thanks to Jules Verne's book, "Journey to the center of the Earth". With an altitude of 1446 meters above sea level, it is one of the highest mountains in the peninsula hosts one of Iceland's best-known glaciers at its peak. You can also visit other wonders of nature such as the beach of Djupalonssandur, the cliffs of Lóndrangar or the cave of Vatnshellir. Accommodation in Snaefellsnes.

DAY 8: PENINSULA DE REYKJANES, BLUE LAGOON AND RETURN HOME

After breakfast there is no better plan for the last day than to enter the Blue Lagoon and visit the volcanic peninsula of Reykjanes (about 2 hours by car from Snaefellsnes), which is almost entirely covered by ancient lava rivers.
