PREMIUM MOTORCYCLE ADENTURE:ICELAND AND THE FAROE ISLANDS ITINERARY

Day 1 – Starting the Iceland Adventure

Motorcycle pick-up in Reykjavík. Today begins your journey along the famous Golden Circle. You’ll visit some of Iceland’s most iconic sites: Geysir hot springs, Gullfoss waterfall, Þingvellir National Park, and the volcanic crater Kerið.
Overnight in South Iceland, in a 3-star hotel with a private pool and geothermal sauna.

Day 2 – Exploring the South Coast

Start the day with a 2008 earthquake simulation and a visit to the interactive Lava Centre. Then head to the impressive Seljalandsfoss (which you can walk behind) and Skógafoss waterfalls.
Continue to Dyrhólaey cliffs, home to puffins in summer, and the black sand beach of Reynisfjara. Final stop: the charming village of Vík.
Overnight in a superior 3-star hotel.

Day 3 – Glaciers and Southeast Wonders

Start with a short hike through Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. Then visit Skaftafell National Park and the Svartifoss waterfall.
In the afternoon, enjoy a Zodiac boat tour on the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, followed by a visit to the striking Diamond Beach.
Overnight near the ferry terminal to the Faroe Islands.

Day 4 – Sailing to the Faroe Islands

Ferry journey across the North Atlantic to the Faroe Islands.
Overnight on board.

Day 5 – First Encounter with the Faroes

Disembark in Tórshavn. Visit the cathedral and historic harbour of Tinganes.
Drive through the Eysturoyartunnilin undersea tunnel. Stops in Gjógv, Funningur, and the rocking stones of Oyndarfjørður.
Overnight in Klaksvík.

Day 6 – Northern Faroes

Scenic ride through mountain roads to Kunoy and Viðareiði, the northernmost point of the Faroes.
Optional visit to the Fishing Museum, then cross to Vágar Island.
Overnight in Miðvágur or Sørvágur.

Day 7 – Faroe Nature Tour

Visit Múlafossur waterfall and take a scenic walk to Lake Sørvágsvatn.
Return to Tórshavn via Streymoy island, with an optional stop in Vestmanna.
Dinner in the capital and overnight on board the ferry back to Iceland.

Day 8 – Return to Iceland

Ferry back to the main island and continuation of the journey.

Day 9 – Mývatn Region

Enjoy a thermal bath at Vök Baths, then explore the geothermal Mývatn area: pseudocraters, Hverir steam fields, volcanic caves.
Overnight in Húsavík.

Day 10 – Whales, Waterfalls and Akureyri

Whale and puffin watching in Húsavík. Visit Dettifoss and Goðafoss waterfalls, then explore Akureyri.
Overnight in a 4-star hotel in Akureyri.

Day 11 – Back to Reykjavík

Visit an open-air folk museum, return the motorcycle in Reykjavík and enjoy a night tour of the capital.
Overnight in a 3/4-star hotel.

Day 12 – Final Experiences

Optional panoramic helicopter flight and visit to the famous Blue Lagoon.
Transfer to the airport.

What do I need to bring for this adventure?

  • A valid motorcycle license is required.
  • Proper riding gear is essential: helmet, jacket, pants, gloves, and goggles. These can be rented at our Reykjavík office for an additional fee.
  • Be prepared for changing weather conditions—bring waterproof and warm clothing. We highly recommend bringing two pairs of motorcycle boots for added comfort and safety.
Please note: The minimum age to rent a motorcycle in Iceland is 21 years.
