The sauna at the Forest Lagoon utilizes the power of dry heat, differentiating it from steam rooms or wet saunas. Maintaining humidity around 20% and a temperature of about 80°C, the Finnish dry sauna offers not only health benefits but also a breathtaking view over Eyjafjörður and the encircling mountains. Swimsuits are required.
Adjacent to the dry sauna is a cold pool, recommended for guests to experience the health advantages of alternating between hot and cold. The cold pool is maintained at a brisk 11°C (51.8°F).
